FUNCTIONAL
POSTURAL RESTORATION PROGRAM

Often times, the above mentioned ailments/deficits/pain can derive from postural dysfunction - positions that puts your body/spine/joints out of your normal balanced positions

Postural dysfunction develops through out certain periods of time frame, prolonged, habitual changes in your positions, disrupted balance in your stability due to muscle imbalances. Modern day life style puts out body into a sedentary of dysfunctional movement patterns where normal joints functional is compromised, resulting in mobility/functional deficits resulting in joint pain, breathing difficulties, and positional intolerance which could develop musculoskeletal disorders such as turtle neck syndrome, shoulder pain, kyphosis, positional scoliosis, pelvic dysfunction, low back pain, knee pain, foot&ankle disorder, "you name it "etc.

Here at Essential Physical Therapy and Rehab, we understand these dysfunctional posture can affect your holistic health and strive to assess the root cause of your disorders and teach you how to restore your normal static and dynamic posture and learn to live pain free and healthy life style.

Moti-Physio

3D Postural Analysis System

Moti-physio is a posture analyzer which shows the patients muskuloskeletal dysfunction in 3D image.

Static analysis and dynamic analysis can be performed to obtain quantifiable measures which can be used to diagnose mechanical dysfunctional and to develop treatment plan postural corrective program.

INTRODUCING TONAL SMART FITNESS GYM

  1. Smart gym in a purposefully compact machine with digital weights/spotter function, with more than 170 movements that track the workouts in real time. Tonal has 17 sensors that analyze your movement for optimum workout and will replace your traditional cable machine to restore your functional movements, improve pain, range of motion and strength.

Essential Physical Therapy and Rehab is proudly serving the clients with most up-to-date smart devices to maximize patients’ function.

Extracorporeal Magnetotransduction Therapy (EMTT)

EMTT is a form of magnetic therapy that assists in the regeneration and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions.

EMTT is a non-invasive form of treatment that uses high-energy electromagnetic pulses transmitted to the affected areas. EMTT uses a high oscillation frequency, allowing deeper penetration and superior tissue healing.

It can be used to treat a wide array of musculoskeletal diseases and dysfunction in minimal time with little to no pain or downtime. It effectively treats patients conditions such as lower back and knee pain, tendinopathies, rotator cuff concerns, Achilles tendonitis, and sports injuries.

EMTT therapy transmits high energy magnetic pulses to targeted tissues at extremely high oscillating frequencies ranging from 100–300 kHz. EMTT. Waves can penetrate deep tissues up to 18 cm beneath the skin’s surface, to target difficult-to-reach tendons, muscles, bones and nervous tissues. When delivered with the right intensity and frequency, EMTT synchronizes with the body’s magnetic fields, causing a disturbance that triggers a regenerative response.

ELECTRIC ENERGY (E2) THERAPY USING
PULSED ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD THERAPY (PEMF)

Imagine your cells as batteries. We slowly deplete the necessary cellular energy in our bodies each day due to various stress factors. By the end of the day, we may feel completely drained in body, mind, and spirit. This is why we need electric energy in our daily lives. PEMF electric energy therapy naturally enhances cellular energy without any invasive procedures, allowing it to recharge your body and mind to 100%

PEMF devices offer a nondrug approach to pain management and a potential decrease of medication use and dependency. There are multiple possible benefits of a therapeutic magnetic field application to healing the body (Jerabek and Pawluk, 1996).  Studies have shown a decrease in:

  • Pain,

  • Swelling

  • Inflammation

Magnetic field application studies have also shown to improve:

  • Circulation

  • Cellular metabolism

  • Energy

Proposed mechanisms of PEMF therapy include activation of voltage-gated calcium channels to increase intracellular calcium and nitric oxide release (Pilla, 2015). Nitric oxide promotes blood vessel production and growth, which is helpful in healing injured tissues (Pilla, 2015).
